Territory Sales Manager

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sales Manager to join our team, a key role in the company. The Sales Manager will orchestrate the team working effectively to maximize opportunities into revenue and to provide clients with the best support. Aim of this role is to drive the sales; justify their value and to increase our market share year on year, while meeting our exceeding customers’ expectations.

 What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute annual territory sales plan and strategies in order to achieve sales and margin targets
  • Work with marketing, sales, and channel partners to actively find and generate new opportunities
  • Establish relationship with leads and other stakeholders to understand their specific requirements and develop in-depth knowledge of the application
  • Work closely with Sales and Engineering team to develop an optimal solution, applicational design and proposals that best meet and exceed their expectations
  • Follow Sunwell sales process and demonstrate value proposition and calculate ROI in order to facilitate client’s positive evaluation of the proposal
  • Assume responsibility for client’s continued satisfaction- from solution design, through projects delivery and to hand-over to service
  • Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners and foster existing relationships
  • Work closely with partners and manage their sales activities to reach sales targets
  • Actively maintain the CRM system up-to-date, and provide regular sales reports to the management
  • Assist in development of sales tools and marketing materials when required
  • Stay current with latest developments in marketplace, competitor activities, and attend industry tradeshows and conferences.
  • Provide market insight to Marketing, Engineering and Service teams, through visit reports

Qualifications we are looking for

  • Minimum 10 years experience in a capital good sales environment to the food industry. Experience with seafood, bakery or produce industries is a strong asset
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Proven track record in achieving sales quota
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with international sales is an asset
  • Experience in developing and managing channel partnerships is an asset
  • Ability to negotiate and structure sales deals
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients and partners
  • Ability and willingness to frequently travel locally and internationally
